Hello dear EdUkit friends!
In Norway the school holiday is over in a couple of days and it's back to school next week. It's become a regular part of our school starting period to go with our students/inmates on a mountain trip to an area called Hardangervidda, i.e. the Hardanger mountain plateau, a vast mountain area in Western Norway very popular for leisure and outdoor activities. (The area covers some 6,500 square kilometres. Enclosed is a picture of a part of the area.)
Teachers and students go hiking, fishing, horse riding etc. for a few days and stay at a cottage that a local Lyons Club in Bergen is kind enough to lend us every year. The meals are prepared by Arild's students and tend to be extremely delicious.
This is short notice, as the trip is to take place in week 35, but we hereby invite any one of you who might be interested in participating. No expenses for the trip itself, but unfortunately we do not have funds to cover your other expenses. If this is of interest please contact me/us as soon as possible.
We hope you're all well and look forward to hearing from you and seeing you in Belgium in October!
Best wishes,
Kåre, Geir, Arild, David, Jarle, Hege etc.
